With Hardman and the Folsom Foods case in the rearview, Jessica is ready to celebrate the firm's newfound strength, and that means a party to announce the merger. But Harvey isn't ready to let that happen without a fight, and he slaps Edward Darby with a lawsuit and tenders a wager: if Harvey wins, the merger is off and Darby and his firm head back to England; if Harvey loses...well, he's not planning on losing.

With the Folsom Foods case ramping up, Harvey searches for cracks in the veneer of company president Hanley Folsom. But with all hands on deck and seven cases being tried in seven separate cities, Pearson Hardman's coffers are dangerously close to empty. The lone path to victory will be to focus all their efforts and resources on one case and win big, then hope the others fall like dominoes.

Daniel Hardman is back, and he's up to his old tricks: though ostensibly the new opposing council on the Folsom Foods class action suit, he's piling on with a wrongful termination lawsuit from Monica Eton - the very same suit Mike had tried to get Monica to bring against the firm in order to oust Daniel.

Harvey and Jessica find their hands full when the infamous Robert Zane signs on as opposing council in a gender discrimination case. Name partner at his own firm, Robert also happens to be the father of Pearson Hardman's most senior paralegal. But Rachel's relationship with her father is complicated, and after a birthday lunch ends badly, Rachel demands that Mike accept her help in kicking dad's ass.

Blood In The Water
With his heart aching over Zoe a little more than he'd care to admit, Harvey comes into the office to find more bad news waiting for him: Trent Devon, a major client on the verge of taking his tech firm public, is thinking of leaving. It seems that word on the street is that Pearson Hardman is weak after their battle with Hardman, and the up-and-coming firm of Bratton Gould, under the new guidance of Allison Holt, is coming after clients and associates.

Blind-Sided
With the paint finally scraped from Hardman's old office door and the struggle of the last few weeks behind them, the lawyers of Pearson Hardman have a little time to reflect, and maybe even celebrate. While Harvey follows his heart to a familiar face, Louis starts the search for a new associate and finds a little romance of a different kind. Meanwhile, Mike hopes a return to work will help get his life back on track, but he soon learns that some of the choices he made in the wake of Grammy's death - including his affair with Tess - can't be wiped away so easily.

High Noon
After weeks of waiting, the votes are cast and the moment of truth is finally at hand: Daniel Hardman is once again managing partner of Pearson Hardman. While Jessica does her best to accept the turn of events gracefully, Harvey has no intention of surrendering to the new order without a fight. But his legs are cut out from under him by Hardman's machinations and with Louis eager to wield his newfound power. This may be a battle Harvey can't win.

When a heated deposition ends with Harvey punching Travis Tanner in the face, Daniel Hardman suggests holding a trial run to prepare Jessica for the task of defending Harvey when it comes time for the real thing. Realizing they'll need an opponent willing to get nasty, they turn to the one person who may hate Harvey more than Tanner: Louis.

A trip to Atlantic City goes full tilt when a client with drinking and gambling problems manages to lose his energy company on a hand of poker. Harvey tries to nip the situation in the bud with a generous settlement, but when it becomes clear that the "new owner" of the company plans to go through with his take-over, Harvey and Mike ready for battle.

Break Point
Hoping to get in front of Travis Tanner's fraud lawsuit, Daniel brings in razor-sharp outside attorney Allison Holt to take on the case. Of course, Harvey being Harvey, he tries to get the suit dropped on his own, only realizing too late that his maneuvering has left the firm in a weaker position.

Discovery
The return of Harvey's old opponent, Travis Tanner, irks Harvey when he learns that Travis is reopening one of his old cases, a wrongful death suit against the automobile manufacturer Coastal Motors that Harvey had successfully quashed four years prior. It seems Tanner has new evidence in the case regarding a memo he claims was covered up, and he's coming after not only CM, but Harvey and Pearson Hardman as well.

Meet The New Boss
Hoping to make a point during the Senior Partners meeting, Jessica assigns Harvey to a nurses' union negotiation case that, by all rights, should be Daniel Hardman's. Hardman offers Harvey an assist, but as Jessica makes it clear to Harvey, she wants the prodigal partner put in his place. Hard. Relishing the chance to step on Hardman a little more, Harvey saddles the firm's number two with pro bono cases. Point taken.

The Choice
Daniel Hardman is back, and he's waging a war for the hearts and minds of the Pearson Hardman employees. Hoping to shore up support amongst the voting partners, Jessica sends Harvey to court Paul Porter, the head of the bankruptcy department. Paul isn't pleased with Jessica's treatment of him over the last few years, but if Harvey can help convince an architect client that it's time to pull the plug on his half-built passion project and file for bankruptcy, Paul will consider throwing his weight behind the current managing partner.
